Padhraic Moneley Limited has extensive capability and experience in the construction of marine and river structures and related infrastructure. This includes ports, barrages, jetties, piers, berths, breakwaters, seawalls, locks and sea pilings. Padhraic Moneley Limited expertise encompasses the installation of steel and concrete bearing piles, sheet piling, concrete constructions - both over water and off shore, underwater tremied concrete, rock and precast concrete armouring, concrete caisson construction, bed preparation and installation, dredging and reclamation and underwater work.
Padhraic Moneley Limited maintains a core of experienced and specialist personnel, who can manage complex marine projects and engage the requisite specialist subcontractors. In-house companies often provide specialist piling and ground improvement expertise.

| Carlingford Marina  Padhraic Moneley Limited have designed and constructed the whole of the marina. Landfill & Reclamation at Carlingford Marina. Project Location: Carlingford, Co. Louth. Date 2001. Description: Construction of gabion retaining wall 400m in length, lining with geotextile, filling with 30,000m3 of dredgings. Construction of overflow system.
| Bangor Marina  Dredging the area in preparation for major civil works for the design and build of the marina.
| Northern Foreshore in Dublin Port  Description: Landfill & reclamation. Including excavation of approx.10,000m3 of material prev.placed as fill.Installation of reinforced fabric,geotextile & Interlocking concrete, coastal protection Landfill and reclamation along the northern foreshore at Dublin Port. The works included the excavation of approx. 10,000m3 of material previously placed as fill. The importation and deposition of 40,000m3 of suitable fill material in reclamation and construction of an embankment along the foreshore. The installation of 11,000 m2 of reinforced fabric, geotextile and interlocking concrete coastal protection system. Total Value €3.4m
| Harbour and Marina Projects  After rigorous engineering planning, scheduling and interviewing, Padhraic Moneley Ltd was chosen as the successful contractor due to their extensive experience they have within the marine works sector. It was decided that Padhraic Moneley Limited possessed the necessary skills and experience to confidently carryout the works and do so within budget and by delivering value for money to Howth Yacht Club. The project involved an extension to the existing forecourt in an easterly and northerly direction with a concrete slab suspended on piles over the water and existing slipway, which will be replaced with a purpose-built slip to facilitate the launching and recovery of a larger number of dinghies. The extra space will accommodate more dinghies, dry-sailed keelboats and keelboat winter storage. It will also allow the club host major sailing championships in the future, which in turn are revenue-earning events.
